Day 0 – Last preparations

Preparing for any adventure always takes a bit of time. For this trip I’m travelling by motorbike. I’ve ridden my Triumph to Scotland and Ireland before, so I’m used to packing for long-ish trips. This trip looks like it’ll be around 3,000 miles and with a variety of weather…so packing the essentials takes some thought.

Obviously the riding is the main thing to prep for. But I’ve also setup this blog series….something I’ve never done before! I’ve also been testing some new onboard camera options to get some cool photos and videos. Lots of different things to do all at the same time. I must be mad, haha.

So here we are, the day before the trip. Tomorrow will be about getting to the EuroTunnel and then on to Ghent in Belgium. I’ll reveal the other destinations as I go! I’ll be arriving into Essen, Germany on Wednesday 21st October to visit Spiel on Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th. It’ll be quite the trip. I look forward to having you along for the journey and keeping you updated 🙂

Thanks for reading my first blog post of the adventure!
